As you are probably aware, the point of the keno game is to predict which of 80 balls will be pulled out of a basket; the way that this is done in land based keno is to mark on a keno card the numbers that you wish to bet on. In online keno the rules are much the same. You will see a card or board on the screen which will have the numbers 1 – 80 marked on it. The number of balls that are drawn and the number of numbers you can bet on will vary from online casino to online casino. However, for example let's say 20 will balls will be chosen, and you are able to bet on 15 numbers.
There are two stages to the keno rules of play; you must select your bet, and you must select your numbers. Most casinos will have some kind of scale on the screen in which different bet denominations are displayed. A bet could be as little as 1c or as much as several dollars – again this depends on the casino and on the specific game; different games will have different minimums and maximums. You will be able to select the amount you wish to bet by going up or down this scale and selecting the amount you wish. Once you are happy with your bet, you must click on the card or board, you have now moved to the second part of the game – selecting your numbers. In order to select a keno number, simply click on it and it will become illuminated, if you wish to change your mind; click again and it will cease to be lit up. Once you are happy with your bet and your number selection, simply hit "play". |
