Each will automatically stand if they are dealt a 9 or 10.

The Banco draws a third card if he is dealt 0, 1 or 2. For all other scenarios, a third card is drawn as follows :

3	The Punto’s third card is anything EXCEPT an 8.
4	The Punto’s third card is between 2 and 7 (inclusive).
5	The Punto’s third card is 4, 5, 6 or 7.
6	The Punto’s third card is 6 or 7.

The Banco is required to stand if his cards total 7.

How Does one Win at Baccarat?

Once it is determined who won (the Banco or the Punto) or whether the game ended in a tie, the players are paid out accordingly.
